Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Jal Mitra service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Jal Mitra provides a cloud-based software platform for managing water delivery businesses, including delivery management, customer management, subscription billing, payment tracking, and reporting. Features may evolve over time with advance notice.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your use of the service complies with applicable laws
• The accuracy of data you enter into the platform (customer information, delivery records)

Jal Mitra is offered on a subscription basis. Your subscription begins on the date you select a paid plan and continues on a monthly or annual basis until cancelled.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually)
• All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension of service

We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the service. Trial data is retained for 30 days after trial expiry.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the source code of the platform
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Upload data that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Jal Mitra (customer data, delivery records, invoices). You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your business data.

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary service unavailability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jal Mitra's liability for any claim related to these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms with reasonable notice. Upon termination, we retain your data for 90 days before permanent deletion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification with at least 14 days advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
